• John V. Murphy in “Cemeteries Vol. III, Saline County, IL” (1977) describes the location of this cemetery as follows:

“No. 7 Cemetery, Carrier Mills Township, Saline County, Illinois. NE 1/4 NW 1/4, Section 28 T9S R5E. From Carrier Mills blacktop road about 1 1/2 miles South of Route 13, turn West on Sahara Coal Co. road about 1 1/2 miles, then turn North on side road and follow it West, then North through strip mine spoil banks to the cemetery. There was a school, No. 7, at this location. The school has been gone since the mid 1940’s.”
