From Obituary: Passed away @@ age 87yr, 9 mo & 3 days. He grew to manhood in Kentucky, his mother passed away when he was 14 years old. He came west in his early twenties, settling near the town of Sikeston in southeast Missouri. He there met Nellie Bates. To this union was born 9 children, 3 of them passed away early in life. They moved to Indian Territory in 1896 and have spent most of the time since in Rogers and Nowata counties of Oklahoma, except about 9 years in New Mexico. His wife Nellie passed away at the age of 53 years. He met and married Rosie Azling who survives him of the home. He was converted and joined the 7th Day Adventist church of Claremore in 1902. He has been a faithful member until his passing away. He awaits the call of the Life Giver, he sleeps in Jesus.
